Founder case

My Private Dive: our own business, not a client engagement.

Because it is ours, we could work with the whole operation: real prices, real logistics and what can honestly be promised.

What kind of business it is

The site is not a brochure. It is where someone decides to get in the water.

The client books from another country, weeks ahead, without knowing anyone. Everything the page does not say ends up arriving as a message.

What was difficult

What is not written becomes a question.

And every question is a postponed decision.

01

What level each outing requires

A cenote and a first try-dive are not for the same person. If the page does not say so, everyone asks.

02

What can be seen, and when

Some experiences only exist part of the year. Offering them without dates creates expectations that cannot be met.

03

What separates one option from another

With seven experiences and three multi-day plans, the risk is not having too little to offer: it is that nobody can choose.

04

What is needed in order to book

Dates, certification, how many people are coming. If they are not asked for up front, the conversation starts without what is needed to reply.

What was reorganised

The decisions, not the screenshots.

01

One page per experience

Everything mixed into a single list.

Cenote, Cozumel, local reef, bull shark and the PADI courses, each with its own page. None was created to cover a search term.

02

Each page says who it is for

"Write to us and we will tell you if you can."

"For certified divers" or "for anyone who has never dived", written into the option itself.

03

The multi-day plans, separately

A single outing and a week of diving, in the same place.

They are two different journeys, because they are two different decisions.

04

Seasonal things, with their season

The season was explained when replying to the email.

The experience that only happens from November to February says so where it is offered.

05

A guide to what to write

Messages arriving with no dates and no certification.

A template to copy before writing: dates, certification, group size, equipment sizes.

06

Two routes, the same expectation

Buttons competing with each other.

WhatsApp and email, with the same promise of a reply.

What you can check

The site is live. Look at it yourself.

Go in and see whether you can tell, without asking, what experiences there are, which would be yours and how to book. That is what we review on your site.

A dive instructor checks tanks and gear lined up on the deck of a small boat at dawn, off the Caribbean coast.
Private outings: the operation the site has to be able to explain before someone books from another country.
Two people sitting at the edge of a jungle cenote at dusk, fins and a mask set to one side, after an outing.
Cenote, reef, Cozumel and courses: seven experiences that used to compete inside a single list.

What we learned

Three principles that stayed.

These are not measured results. They are working decisions that came out of this project and that we now apply to the others.

01

Saying who it is not for

Stating the level each experience requires rules out the wrong visitor before they write, and that is a favour to both sides.

02

The limitation, up front

Season, conditions and requirements are published where someone is deciding. Finding out afterwards is what ruins an experience.

03

Asking well the first time

A clear template before the message gathers from the start the details needed in order to reply.

Transparency: claridadweb.com is the studio’s own site, not a client engagement. What can be checked here is technical: we attribute no sales or rankings to it.

Why we do it this way

We worked on our own business before offering this to anyone. Not to have a pretty example, but so we could make our mistakes on our site and not on a client’s.
