Every change touches other things
You move something on one page and an effect nobody expected shows up on another.
Direct Web Rebuild
We keep what works and remove what no longer does. Without losing history, content or the tools you already use.
In minutes, a PDF report on how your site works under the hood and how clearly it explains your business. Yours, whether you hire us or not.
The idea
This is not about swapping one platform for another. It is about asking first whether you need that layer at all.
You may recognise this
It is in everything your site needs in order to keep running.
You move something on one page and an effect nobody expected shows up on another.
Updates get postponed for fear something will stop working.
They were installed for something specific, years ago, and they are still there.
The inherited structure limits what can even be proposed.
Content, addresses or connected tools that make any change risky.
The site works, but changing it has become difficult.
Many sites put pages, editing, forms and users inside a single platform. Today it can be done differently: the site as the main piece, and each function connected separately only if needed.
The reasonable doubt
What changes is not what your site can do. It is what it depends on in order to do it.
We keep and connect tools that serve a concrete function. Custom system development is not included.
What changes
Every piece a site drags along costs money, time or peace of mind. Sometimes all three.
| What is removed | What you stop carrying |
|---|---|
| A plugin installed years ago that nobody uses any more | Updating it every month, paying for it if it is paid, and crossing your fingers that it still gets along with the rest. |
| The admin door left open to the internet | Watching who tries to get in through it. A door that does not exist needs no guarding. |
| The program that assembles the page by dragging blocks | Your site depending on it in order to exist. If it raises its price or gets abandoned, it does not drag you with it. |
| Intermediate pieces that no longer do anything | Paying for them and keeping them current without getting anything back. |
And you gain two things you did not have before: history, to go back to the previous version in minutes if something goes wrong; and rehearsal, to test every change in private before a client sees it.
Whatever stays in use will still need maintenance. What is removed can no longer fail.
The nearest proof
This page has none of those layers: no content manager, no plugins, no database. The server hands it over as-is, which is why very little can break.
How a change gets published: the site lives in a code repository (GitHub) that keeps its full history. If something goes wrong, it rolls back in minutes.
The counterexample is ours too: My Private Dive stays on WordPress because there it solves a real need. The question was never which platform you use, but whether each piece has a reason to be there.
Transparency: both sites are the studio’s own, not clients’. They show how we work, not proof of sales, rankings or commercial results.
Before touching anything
Before proposing anything, we draw up in writing the inventory of what must not be lost.
We do not promise everything can be kept: it is reviewed case by case and decided with you before building.
Objectivity
The Fit Check exists to tell which of these three is your case. If yours is the first, we say so.
The current structure is still reasonable and the problem is solved at one specific point.
Message and structure are worth rethinking, keeping much of the base it is already built on.
The structure holding the site up is part of the problem. It is worth rethinking alongside it.
No site yet? That is Direct build, in Services.
How it is done
No decision about the structure is taken before we have the list of what must not be lost.
We analyse your site in minutes and tell you whether it makes sense to continue, without asking for logins. MXN $200.
What is there, what it does and who uses it: platform, content, addresses and tools.
Piece by piece: keep, simplify, separate, replace or remove. In writing, and with you.
It is built, tested away from the public site, and published in a controlled way.
Next step
The Fit Check tells you whether it is a case for improving, redesigning, or looking at a rebuild. MXN $200, in minutes.
