Privacy Notice

This notice explains what data Claridad receives, what it uses it for, how long it keeps it, and how you can exercise your rights.

Courtesy translation. This English version is provided for convenience only. The Spanish version is the sole legally binding text; in the event of any discrepancy, the Spanish wording prevails. Read the Spanish version.

1. Who is responsible for your data

The party responsible for processing your personal data is Claridad, a trading name under which an individual with business activity operates, with address at Calle Paseo Copán s/n, interior 12, colonia La Joya, Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo, C.P. 77716, Mexico.

The full legal identification of the responsible party is available on request, and appears on any proposal, contract or tax receipt we issue.

For any privacy matter, including your ARCO rights, write to info@claridadweb.com. That address is the designated channel for handling such requests.

2. What data you give us

Only what you write in a form on this site or in an email addressed to Claridad.

In the contact form: your name, your business name, your email address, your website address if you have one, your sector, what you need, and whatever description of what you want to solve or improve you choose to share.

In the Fit Check form: your name, your business name, your email address, your website address, your sector and, if you wish, some context.

To pay for the Fit Check you enter your card details, but you are not giving them to us: they are captured directly by Stripe, the payment processor, in a field that belongs to Stripe. Claridad never sees or stores your card number. From that payment we only receive what Stripe reports to any merchant: that it went through, the amount and the date.

Apart from the card payment, we do not ask for sensitive, financial or asset data, nor passwords. If you send them on your own initiative, we will ask you not to.

3. What technical data is recorded

Besides what you write, the normal operation of the site leaves these records:

A counter to stop automated form submissions. When someone submits the form, the server stores an identifier derived from their IP address — not the address itself — and the time of the most recent submissions, in order to block anyone trying to send dozens in a row. It does not store your name, your email or your message. That counter deletes itself after seven days.

The server logs. As on any website, the hosting server records the requests it receives: date, IP address, page requested and browser type. Those logs are generated and kept by our hosting provider, not by this site.

Backups. The hosting provider makes periodic server backups for operational security.

This site loads no fonts, maps or videos from third-party servers, and has no analytics tools, social media buttons or advertising pixels.

There is a single exception, on a single page: Fit Check. There the Stripe payment component is loaded so you can pay by card, and the page talks to fitcheck.claridadweb.com, the service that produces your report. When it loads, Stripe receives the usual technical data of any visit — IP address, browser, device — and uses it to process the payment and prevent fraud, under its own privacy notice. The rest of the site is served entirely from its own domain.

The Fit Check service also leaves technical operating logs with its hosting provider, Render.

4. How your data reaches us

When you send the form, your data travels encrypted over HTTPS to this site’s own server. The server checks it, composes an email and delivers it to Claridad’s mailbox, info@claridadweb.com. The content of the form is not stored in any database on this site.

Immediately afterwards, and only if that delivery succeeded, the server sends you an automatic confirmation. It is a notification email, not advertising, and it does not subscribe you to anything.

The contact form uses no third-party service: your data does not pass through another company’s platform before reaching us.

The Fit Check works differently, because it includes a payment and an automated analysis:

  1. Your data travels encrypted over HTTPS to the fitcheck.claridadweb.com service, hosted on Render, which creates the charge in Stripe. Stripe receives your name, your email, your business name, your site, your sector and any context you write, to record the payment and send you its receipt.
  2. Once Stripe confirms the payment, the service reads the public pages of your site and sends their address and text to Anthropic, the provider of the language model Claridad’s automated system uses to write the analysis. Your name, your email and what you wrote in the form are not sent to Anthropic: only what anyone can read on your site.
  3. The report is shown on screen at a hard-to-guess address that only you and Claridad receive.
  4. A record is sent to Claridad’s mailbox, info@claridadweb.com, with your form details, the payment details and the full report. The form also arrives the same way as the contact form.

The Fit Check service does not store your data in a database: it keeps it in memory while running, and it is erased when the service restarts.

5. What we use your data for

To attend to you: answer your request, generate and send you your Fit Check when you request and pay for it, charge for it, apply its credit if you later hire the Complete Diagnostic, issue a tax invoice if you request one, prepare and send you a proposal, and follow up on the conversation you started.

We do not use it for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not share it for commercial purposes. There are no secondary purposes.

6. Who else is involved

So that the site, the form and the email work, Claridad relies on providers that process data on Claridad’s behalf and solely in order to provide that service. They are processors, not independent recipients: they cannot use your data for their own purposes.

These are all of them:

  • SiteGround — site hosting, email delivery, mailbox and backups.
  • Stripe — processes the Fit Check payment. It receives the data described in point 4 and your card details.
  • Render — hosts the service that produces the Fit Check.
  • Anthropic — provides the language model that writes the Fit Check analysis. It only receives your site’s address and public content.

Stripe, Render and Anthropic are companies with servers outside Mexico, mainly in the United States. Stripe also processes some payment data on its own account, to prevent fraud and meet its financial obligations, under its own privacy notice.

Beyond those processors, we do not share your data with third parties, nor do we make transfers requiring your consent. Were that to change, this notice would be updated beforehand.

7. How long we keep it

If your enquiry does not lead to a project, we keep the information for up to twelve months from the last time we spoke, and then we delete it from the mailbox. That period exists because a conversation that does not advance today is usually picked up again within the same year; past that point, keeping it stops making sense.

If the conversation leads to a project, we keep what is necessary for the duration of the relationship, and afterwards only for whichever legal or contractual periods apply.

Tax documents are kept for five years from the related filing, as Mexican tax law requires, unless the law sets a different period.

What we receive from a Fit Check follows the same twelve-month rule, with one exception: while your MXN $200 credit can still be applied, we keep what is needed to recognise it — your name, your email, the folio and the payment.

The Fit Check service keeps your order and report in memory only, until it restarts. Your report’s address may stop working after that; if you need it again, ask us and we will send it from our record.

Stripe, Anthropic and Render keep what they receive for the periods their own policies define and, in Stripe’s case, its legal and financial obligations.

The anti-spam counter described in point 3 deletes itself automatically after seven days.

Server logs and backups are kept for the periods our hosting provider defines for those services.

At any time you may ask us to delete your data before those periods, unless there is a legal obligation to keep it.

8. Your ARCO rights

At any time you may ask us for access to your data, its rectification if it is inaccurate, its cancellation when it should no longer be processed, or to state your objection to a specific use. You may also withdraw your consent.

To do so, write to info@claridadweb.com stating your name, how to contact you, which data it concerns and what you want us to do with it.

We will communicate our decision within a maximum of twenty days and, if applicable, we will act on it within the following fifteen days. These are statutory periods and are unrelated to the four business hour commercial response time with which we answer form submissions.

If your request concerns data held by Stripe, Anthropic or Render, we handle it with them: you do not need to contact each one.

If you consider that your right has been infringed, you may turn to the competent authority for personal data protection.

9. Measurement

This site does not measure you. We do not use Google Analytics or any other analytics tool. There are also no advertising pixels, social media buttons or heat maps. The site’s only third-party script is Stripe’s payment component, and it only loads on the Fit Check page.

This site sets no cookies of its own. On the Fit Check page, Stripe’s component may set its own, which it uses to process the payment securely and prevent fraud, not for advertising. They are necessary to pay, which is why we do not ask your permission with a pop-up. If you do not visit that page, none are set. The only records of the rest of your visit are the server logs and the form’s anti-abuse counter, both described in point 3.

Until 26 August 2026 we did use Google Analytics 4, with Google Signals switched off. It was removed that day and with it went the cookies _ga and _ga_*. If your browser still holds one from that period, it is no longer sent anywhere and you can delete it from your browser settings.

If at some point we were to install a measurement tool again, we would update this notice before switching it on, and we would say so here in the same detail with which we have just described what used to be there.

10. Changes to this notice

Any change is published at this same address, and the version in force is always the one shown here. Substantial changes are communicated by email to anyone with an active conversation with Claridad.
